This experience includes both project and construction phase engineering services. Projects have included hospitals, universities, public schools, parking garages, airport terminals, aquatic facilities, airport taxiway and runway projects; reservoirs; pump stations; subdivisions; commercial buildings, pile supported docks, retaining walls, sheet piles, large earthworks, erosion control, sewer, water, and storm sewer systems, roadway reconstruction, bridges, rock quarries, dredging, and rock blasting controls.

This construction diversity demonstrates the firms unique problem solving skills and the ability to successfully deal with owners, designers, contractors, and public and private sector agencies. Mr. Wilson has gained long-term experience in Southeast Alaska with local weather patterns, shipping and scheduling constraints, construction methods & techniques, building codes, permits, technical specifications, contract documents, cost estimates, and conditions assessments on his several hundred public and private construction projects.

Jeff particularly enjoys starting up and organizing a large, complex civil or architectural project. He likes working with staff, clients, design teams, and contractors early to ensure that the project gets off on the right foot. "In 35 years of experience, I have seen too many projects that are not organized or set up for success. It is very important to set up each team member's roles, lines of communication, documentation, and project responsibilities and expectations early."

Standing in front of a finished project that everyone has worked together on and everyone is satisfied with when finished provides an immense sense of satisfaction and of having done right by future generations who will benefit from it.

involved with the public processes. "I go to Assembly meetings and vote. I try to make Juneau a better place than when I started. I feel good about where Juneau is going and am proud to have been a small part of its success."

Jeff and his wife Karen and their daughter enjoy the outdoors and everything Southeast offers: sailing, skiing, diving, kayaking, hiking, photography, gardening, building, friends and family, politics, the arts, touristing, the glacier and the mountains and wildlife. "It is all good here."
