Bruce Walter

Project Manager

Bruce joined the WEI team in 2005 as Project Manager and Special Inspector providing clients with Quality Control, Quality Acceptance, Materials Testing, and Contract Administration services as an Owners Representative. He has worked on millions of dollars-worth of facilities in Hawaii, as well as multiple Bartlett Regional Hospital projects. After more than 25 years in the industry, and a decade as a project manager in Alaska, Bruce is applying his lifetime’s experience to the Kodiak Island Borough’s $80-million-dollar high school expansion and renovation project, which is the largest public project currently under construction in state.

Bruce particularly enjoys large-scale commercial development projects, as well as new construction and renovation. As WEI is a smaller, third party consulting firm specializing in project management of large scale, dynamic projects, hands-on involvement with a wide array of projects is possible in a way that would not be possible otherwise. And because most of the projects are owned by state, city and federal entities, he particularly enjoys representing not only the owners’ interests, but also those of the general public (tax payers).

  • Special inspector certified for concrete and structural reinforcement / spray appiled fireproofing and civil density testing.

  • Bruce has a passion for automotive restoration, and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids.
