Seawalk Bridge to Gold Creek: Phases 1-3

Wilson Engineering provided assistance to TetraTech during design and construction of the 3 phases for the Seawalk Bridge to Gold Creek Project which was awarded the 2018 ASCE local chapter Project of the Year. During design Wilson Engineering assisted with constructability review and cost estimating. During construction Wilson Engineering assisted with contract administration and provided special inspections, materials testing, and SWPPP oversight. The project included construction of a manmade island near the outlet of Gold Creek, two sections of pile supported walkway totaling 1,000lf, hardscape and landscaping for Bridge Park, landscaping and trail construction on the island, site furnishings, construction of the whale sculpture pool and associated piping, construction of a public restroom building, parking lot construction, and two shelters. Design for the project began in 2013 and construction for Phase 1 began in 2015.
Project completion in July, 2018 Construction Budget for all Phases: $10.5 million.
